Bonita Springs, FL — GCG Construction has officially begun construction on The Sanctuary Golf & Social Club’s debut Florida location, a 28,000-square-foot indoor golf and social venue at Prado at Spring Creek. The project will transform the former Big Lots space at 25191 S. Tamiami Trail into a destination blending sport, dining, and elevated hospitality.
The venue will feature eight state-of-the-art golf simulator suites, including a private VIP experience, four indoor pickleball courts, and a full-service bar and dining lounge designed for a range of social experiences.
Designed by Studio AD Architect, Resolute Hospitality, and L-Design Studio, the space will deliver a refined, hospitality-driven interior featuring rich wood tones, deep green and charcoal palettes, and brass accents. Architectural elements such as arched openings, custom millwork, and layered lighting will create a warm, club-like atmosphere, complemented by integrated greenery and thoughtfully designed social spaces.
As Construction Manager and General Contractor, GCG Construction is overseeing all preconstruction and field operations, including budgeting, scheduling, permitting, and execution.
“Breaking ground on a project of this scale is an exciting milestone,” said Lerin Byrd, President of GCG Construction. “We’re proud to help bring The Sanctuary’s unique hospitality and entertainment concept to life in Southwest Florida.”
Construction is now underway, with completion anticipated in 2026.
