Project Description

GCG Construction, Inc. is delighted to announce the successful completion of its transformative project at Port Sanibel Marina. This significant addition to the region’s waterfront landscape exemplifies our unwavering commitment to construction excellence and collaboration, even in the face of adversity.

The heart of this undertaking involved expanding the marina’s building to an impressive height of approximately 58 feet, creating a structure spanning 31,949 sq. ft. Architectural design by PDS Architecture, Inc. provides for enhancements evident in every detail, with crisp lines, a pleasing neutral color palette, dormers, and impact-rated windows. These additions not only contribute to the marina’s visual appeal but also elevate its functionality.

Port Sanibel Marina now boasts an additional 147 indoor boat slips and 9 indoor trailer slips, providing ample space for water enthusiasts. Safety and modernity were core considerations throughout the project, leading to the installation of a state-of-the-art fire suppression system and an improved site lighting system.

Civil Engineering by Hole Montes, a Bowman company, provided the site design and landscaping enhancements to harmonize the marina with its lush surroundings, creating an inviting atmosphere for all who visit.

A notable feature of this transformation is the meticulous grid of beams and columns that expertly support boats and trailers. These additions showcase the precision engineering, ensuring the marina’s longevity and structural integrity.
